Creation and
Leadership of Cryopep
With over 38 years of experience in the field of hemostasis and thrombosis, manager Norbert Bénattar has built his career within the biomedical industry. He began his career in 1987 as an employee at Diagnostica Stago and Biogenic / Chromogenix.
A recipient of the national innovation technology business creation award (ANVAR) in 2000, he ventured into entrepreneurship, marking a turning point in his career with the creation of his first company, Biopep, specializing in hemostasis production. Biopep was sold to the Horiba ABX Group in 2003.
He then held the position of Director of Marketing and Sales within the group until 2008, before founding Cryopep.
For this new venture, Norbert Bénattar combined technical expertise with a strategic vision to meet the needs of the in-vitro medical diagnostics sector.
As the head of Cryopep and supported by a dynamic team, he continues to lead the company today, with the goal of addressing challenges in medical diagnostics and supporting research projects in the fields of hemostasis and thrombosis.
In 2020, to support the group’s development and innovation, Norbert Bénattar founded R&D PepReDep, led by Dr. Charlotte Kawecki.
